The 9th session of the TESMUN concluded today amidst a grand ceremony held virtually on 13 September 2021.

The formal session of HRC committee began with the crisis brought by crisis manager (Shikha Pandey) about a bomb explosion in the hotel room of a Pakistani politician named Abbas Abdul who was on his way to the Asian Summit where several politicians throughout Asia had gathered to solve some world issues.

September 13 was scheduled for the 2nd as well as the last day of MUN-2077 where every dais member and the delegates were in their respective committee which started after the roll call. With the 4/4 majority, the delegate of Brazil(Kritik Kapri) raised the motion to start the GSL on the main topic "Supervision of recovery protocols of the pandemic and circulation of vaccines", and gave the GSL being the default speaker.

The second day of the formal session of MUN started on the virtual platform on Sunday, September 13 at 9 am with K. P. Oli (Sulaxana Thapa) raised a moderated caucus on the topic "Effect of Covid on economy of Nepal" which was passed by full house majority and the speech was started by K. P. Oli (Sulaxana Thapa).

The final session of MUN was held on September 12, Sunday. It started with a wonderful opening ceremony hosted by Sanskar Gyawali and Shikha Pandey.

The final session of LP3 started on September 12, Sunday through zoom. The session started after the dias panel greeted and cheered the delegates. The delegate of Bhim Rawal ( Liza Sthapit) then raised a motion to start the formal session. The session then moved on after the dias panel took the roll call. After the roll call was taken, the delegate of Raghubir Mahaseth (Ayush Moktan) raised a motion to set the agenda on ‘Emergency Crisis for Global Pandemic’.

The committee of UNEP started with the agenda set on the topic “Mitigating the socio-economic impacts of climate change”. All the delegates who were in the committee appeared to be energetic and exhilarated.

The committee of WHO started TES MUN with its first topic on “Supervision of recovery protocols of the pandemic and circulation of vaccines.” with the delegate of Nigeria (Sambriddhi Shah) giving her GSL on the same topic and was open to questions and comments by her fellow delegates.

The formal session of MUN started on the virtual platform on Sunday, September 12 with a grand opening ceremony at 9 am sharp. The LP-II committee started their formal session at 10 am where the delegate of Gagan Thapa (Raunak Rimal) raised an agenda on the topic "Financial Scarcity and International Debt". The delegate of Bina Magar (Pragyan Devkota) raised a motion to start the GSL.

Covid-19 was surely an obstacle, but it did not stop us. It did not stop The Excelsior School family from engaging with the leaders of tomorrow. Following the motto of 'Engage, Excel and Inspire', the school family came together to make the TESMUN session successful despite all odds.

The final session of the LP1 committee began on 12th September after the grand opening ceremony that took place virtually. The committee formally started after the delegate of Gokul Baskota (Tejaswi Pant) set an agenda, “The impact of the pandemic on migrant labor and measures to save their livelihood.”

The second formal session practice of UNEP started on the virtual platform on Friday, September 3.The moderated caucus was set on the crisis of Forest Fire In USA by the delegate of Singapore (Avi Subedi). The Tongass National Forest was caught on fire where North Korea and Russia were major suspects. The fire had destroyed homes, wildlife habitats, and timber, and polluted the air with emissions harmful to human health. France had sent aid while the U.S. refused to accept it.

In the UNEP committee, the delegate of USA (Manaswi Pant) raised the GSL on the topic ‘Renewable Energy and Future Energy Demand’ where many other delegates discussed the issues and policies related to the topic.

The LP1 committee started after the delegate of Madav Kumar(Hisi Tamang) raised a motion to set an agenda on the topic, “Corruption and its direct effects on development and ways to eradicate it” which was passed by a two-thirds majority. The delegate of KP.Oli(Shreya Kadayat) then raised a motion to start GSL and presented her GSL soon after stating that her party does not accept corruption and strongly stands against it.

The delegates of HRC resumed the formal session on the same topic about LGBTQ+ people on August 26, Wednesday. Active participation was shown by the delegates as there were many moderated caucuses being raised.

The formal session of HRC started with full energy on August 25, Wednesday at 2:15 pm sharp after the HRC chair Shristi Mandal explained the rules and regulations of MUN (Model United Nations).

The Committee of WHO began the GSL raised by the delegate of USA Abishkar Aryal on the topic “Causes and Impacts of Covid-19 on global population and co-operation among countries” where many other delegates discussed.

The legislature parliament II discussed the topic “Domestic violence and sexual abuse in Nepal” virtually on Thursday, August 26 in the formal session making all the delegates excited to share their point of views.

The formal session of Legislative Parliament II started after a demo session presented by the Dias panel on August 25, Wednesday. After the dias members explained the rules and regulation of MUN, delegates were ready and full of energy to start the formal session.

The formal session of LP-1 began on August 25, Wednesday at 1:40 PM after the delegate of Padma Kumari Aryal (Alina Shrestha) set an agenda on the topic “Disaster management and its importance in the context of Nepal” which passed by a two-thirds majority.
