Interviewer: Good morning delegate, we are here from the press team to take a short interview with you let’s start now, shall we?

Delegate: Yes

Interviewer: This is your first time in MUN right?

Delegate: No this is my second time in MUN actually. My first time in MUN, I was there as a typist.

Interviewer: How did you build up your confidence to speak up in this MUN? Did the dais member help you?

Delegate: I watched different MUN programs videos on youtube and yes the dais member helped me, guided me, and also encouraged me to speak up in the MUN.

Interviewer: If you were to attend a physical MUN, do you think it will be any different from the virtual one?

Delegate: If I were to Attend the physical MUN, I think it will be different from the virtual one because in the virtual one we have mobile phones and laptops in our hand so we can google anything if we need. But in the physical one, we need to remember everything so I think it will be difficult.

Interviewer: Do you think you are being benefited by TESMUN?

Delegate: Yes I have been benefited a lot from this MUN because I do not speak very well in front of a mass of people. But because of this MUN program, I have encouraged myself to speak in front of people.

Interviewer: Are there any problems you have been facing due to the virtual platform?

Delegate: No I have not been facing any problems. But one of the common problems is the internet connection. Sometimes the internet is not working so it is a little bit hard.

Interviewer: Why do you think it is necessary to be a part of MUN?

Delegate: I think it is necessary to take part in MUN because it is a great experience and it helps you to learn debating skills, building up your confidence, and also learn research skills.

Interviewer: What are the topics being discussed in your committee? Are you enjoying them?

Delegate: As a WHO committee the topics being discussed are the current situation which is covid and vaccination. And yes I am enjoying it and I am also learning a lot about current affairs.

Interviewer: Do you think you will be participating in MUN as a delegate in the future?

Delegate: Yes I think I will be taking part in MUN programs in the future because it is very beneficial.

Interviewer: Are you having a hard time speaking in front of everyone while representing other countries?

Delegate: No, but in the first session I was having a tuff time as I am not used to talking in front of a mass of people. But by taking the help of the dais member and also seeing my friends who are speaking in front of a mass I have learned many things from them.

Interviewer: Lastly, do you have any feedback for TES MUN?

Delegate: No, everything in this TES MUN is going great.

Interviewer: Thank you so much for sharing things with us and giving us your precious time. We hope you have a great day.

Delegate: Thank you.
