An astonishing speech of Deputy Chief Editor

Good afternoon, Chair of this closing ceremony and Secretary-General of TESMUN 2021, Honorable Chairperson of our school Madam Sheetal Rana, Honorable Managing Director of our school Mr.Ram Basnet, Administrative Incharge Mr.Niraj Bikram Rana, Honorable Principal Mr.Prashant Rajak, Respected teachers, dais members, delegates, and fellow members in the press and the IT Committees.
Presenting myself as deputy chief editor was truly a pleasure. Working alongside the amazing and hard-working press members has been a great experience. Being given the title of deputy chief editor was really unexpected but those unexpected moments are what make us better than we were yesterday. I have taken many things from this experience. And I will surely be using that knowledge in the upcoming days. I would love to thank my teachers for giving me this opportunity. And I would also like to thank my fellow press members for making this experience ten times better.
Going virtual for such programs brings many difficulties but battling through those difficulties will only make us stronger and bring out a better version of ourselves. Having an amazing team to work with was the cherry on top. Cooperation and coordination from the press team made it easier in battling those difficulties.
Following the motto of “engage, express, and excel” the excelsior school family came together to make the virtual TESMUN session successful despite all odds.
The press department appreciates all the effort and help presented by each and every participant. Along with my colleagues who worked with me, special thanks goes to Manoj sir who guided us through the process. Sujata Ma’am also deserves a vote of thanks for her support to every member in the team. Your guidance is our treasure. We grow with the support you provide to use. Doing the language work with a language teacher is an opportunity to master the basic skills of drafting, editing and reedicting. Thank you everyone for your contribution.
Now let me present my awardees. Each and every member gave their best, having to choose the best amongst the best was a very difficult job. You never lose, you either win or learn. Every member has learned something from this virtual TESMUN. Everyone has achieved something great that will help you move forward in your life. However, we have to come to a conclusion. We had to select somebody. Our teachers, I and the chief came to a conclusion and chose the following people.
The person who has been chosen as the best editor is Shlok prakash giri. Thank you slok for your efforts.
Next, the award for the best reporter team goes to Shrine Thapa, Shikha Adhikari and Shreeji Regmi. Thank you guys for providing us with amazing reports.
We had only one interviewer team this year and the interviewer team did a praiseworthy job.
Considering their effort in bringing us a quality interview we have decided to award the whole interview team. Anuska Sharma, Anuska Subedi, Prakhar Thapa, Biraj Pokhrel Thank you for your effort and time.
