A marvelous speech of IT Head

Good afternoon, Chair of this closing ceremony and Secretary-General of TESMUN 2021, Honorable Chairperson of our school Madam Sheetal Rana, Honorable Managing Director of our school Mr.Ram Basnet, Administrative Incharge Mr.Niraj Bikram Rana, Honorable Principal Mr.Prashant Rajak, Respected teachers, dais members, delegates, and fellow members in the press and the IT Committees.

We have done it. TES MUN 2021 has come to a conclusion. We have made it successful through our efforts. The glamour lies in being a member of the dais panel. They look like celebrities. Yes, they are! They are decked in their best attire and they had the authority to command. That makes them look something greater than what we normally think they are.

On other occasions they are just our friends in the classroom sitting next to us. But for these two days, they were just like fallen angles, larger than life. They were the diplomats and officials. The delegates get the next highlight. They act as ambassadors to the UN representing various countries.

However, all these highlights and zooming were on the tip of the member in the IT committee- my fellow friends. Sitting behind the curtain, they were managing the screen. They were documenting the events. They were talking photos and videos. That was the IT team. They never came to the front but they managed the front. Representing the team as the head of the committee I would like to thank my fellow members for your contribution to the programme. Don’t feel that you were not highlighted. You made this all possible.

So for so good, the chair and the dais panel members have highlighted the member of their committee. They lauded them for loud and clear. That’s what they needed to do. But I laud my committee members for working silently behind the crowd suppressing the tempatation to come out and shout like many others.

The event was wonderful we have collected experiences. In the past also we did so. Every time we did, we have changed ourselves. When I was in junior classes I dreamt of being one in the dais panel however I am happy now to have led a team of wonderful people and contributed to the event.

Before making it a suscees we failed many times. We had to work and rework. I can still remember the sweaty face of my Deputy Mr. Praful when we had to rework the whole webpage that once was designed. It went faulty but we mended it. That experience of rising after a fall is what I and my fellow members alogn with other students are taking with us from this session. For me, this is one of the most cherished moments of my life to date. Similar feelings were shared by other speakers as well. So I believe the motto of the programme has been accomplished.
